Wolfstar is a consultancy that goes back to the future of public relations.

We help you to have genuine two-way conversations with your stakeholders. That means listening and learning, just as much as talking. We do it using the most effective new social media, digital and online communications tools, backed up by award-winning traditional public relations tactics. We don’t have a social media or interactive digital division, because we believe it should be an integral part of your corporate communications strategy.

Once upon a time people mainly communicated by talking to each other - in the market, at meetings and on the street corner. If a trader wanted to tell a shopper about his wares, he had to talk to them. The 20th century saw the massive growth of print and broadcast media which provided an easy way for companies and organisations to talk to millions of people, but didn’t make it easy to listen to them.

The public relations industry helped companies and organisations to use the media to communicate with people. It’s not all we did, as we also used dozens of other communications channels - but let’s be honest it was mainly media relations. PR played lip service to the fact that it was a two-way model of communications, but in reality for most it was pretty much a one way street.
