Blog Rules
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Welcome to the Wolfstar blog. It’s a place where everyone at Wolfstar is free to express their opinions on a wide range of topics, but all broadly related to public relations, social media and word of mouth marketing and communications.
But what makes it really work is that you take part in the debate and leave your comments.
There are just few house rules to remember.
1. Imagine that you’re in our front room, so be polite and you’re welcome to stay. If you get rude or out of order, then you’re out.
2. We welcome robust debate, but won’t tolerate crude and offensive language. This includes all the ‘isms’ race, sex etc.
3. We’ll allow comments under a pseudonym (nick name), but really don’t like them. If your opinion is worth hearing then you should be willing to put your name to it. This means we’ll be less tolerant if we don’t know who you are.
4. All the views expressed on the Wolfstar blog are the personal opinions of the author. That means that sometimes other people in the team will agree, sometimes we won’t. There isn’t an official corporate voice on the blog.
5. Some of the posts are written by work experience interns. That’s because we think it’s important to give them real experience and not just leave them making the tea or photocopying. So please treat them gently and remember they are still learning.
6. When members of the Wolfstar team comment on other blogs or participate in other social media and social networks then we will always be open and transparent about who we are. If we are speaking on behalf of Wolfstar or a client we will always declare our interest.
7. We will never delete a post (unless ‘touch wood’ we’re forced to do so for legal reasons) and will always indicate ’substantive’ changes. Minor grammar, spelling, layout etc might simply be corrected.
8. We will always try and respect the community ethos by linking to others and crediting our sources.
9. We will always strive to write posts of the highest quality, which includes basic error checking such as spelling.
10. We will never knowingly publish inaccurate or misleading information and will correct any such statements at the earliest possible opportunity.
11. If you want to report a breach of these rules then email our managing director Stuart Bruce.
That’s all for now folks. But, if you’ve got ideas for how these house rules could be improved then please leave them as a comment and who knows you might see our rules change.
