Pack Profile – Ziana

Tell us a little bit about yourself?

I’m a Huddersfield University graduate, with a degree in Business Computing. I initially approached Wolfstar for work experience and was offered a position shortly after.

Outside work, I’m prone to a skiing accident (or two!), baking and I enjoy digital design. I’ve tackled the odd 5k in the past but one of my personal ambitions is to complete a marathon before the age of 30.

You can usually find me with my face in some sort of food! As Wolfstar PR’s biggest snack fan, there’s usually something tasty lurking in my desk… and I will always bring enough to go around.

What is your main role at Wolfstar/what does a typical day look like?

Most of my working day at the moment is spent researching and creating written content, from drafting blog articles to producing social media posts. I support the team on lots of different accounts and, as someone technologically minded, who spends most of their spare time scrolling through apps, I’m always on the lookout for content inspiration to share with the team.

What is your best moment in PR?

Although my background is in business computing, and I haven’t had too much experience in PR before joining Wolfstar, I’m really excited to be learning here. Since I started at Wolfstar I have been on a steep learning curve and have loved contributing to creative ideas, content plans, social media campaigns and finding new processes to carry out tasks efficiently.

Who would be your dream client?

I’m all for supporting local talent and I’m a foodie so would love to work with a brand like Doboy Donuts – their donuts are HUGE and taste absolutely delicious… and they’re vegan too. Get in touch Doboy!!

What would you be doing if you didn’t do PR?

I was obsessed with CSI as a child, so much that I desperately wanted to be a criminal pathologist growing up, although I soon realised I’d have to be much better at science, which isn’t my strength! Working for Wolfstar is much less… squeamish!

What’s an interesting fact or special talent about yourself?

Does being able to touch your nose with your tongue count as a talent? If not, I used to be able to play the clarinet and I can code a website.

Also, Britney Spears follows me on Twitter, and I can always find a suitable Kim K quote to apply to almost any occasion!

I’m loving being part of the Wolfstar pack – so much so that my favourite hoodie is donned with the company’s logo.
