Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I am a double masters graduate from the University of Leeds. My first degree was in PR, Corporate Communications and Marketing. I recently joined Wolfstar as a Junior Account Manager while pursuing my second degree, which is in Management.
I consider myself a travel enthusiast, dancing queen, communication geek and a bookworm. I am also obsessed with collecting shoes and stationery!
What is your main role at Wolfstar/ what does a typical day look like?
So far, no two days at Wolfstar have been the same but I will try to describe mine in the best way possible… a typical morning begins by being greeted by the most wonderful smiles once I enter the office (hint: my colleagues)😊. Then, it’s a matter of wearing different hats. For example, I might need to switch between clients in the Food and Drink industry to the Home and Garden sector in a heartbeat. It keeps me on my toes.
During my working day I might be involved in research or brainstorming creative ideas, getting in touch with the media or writing content. From building networks to preparing blog articles, I have chance to do it all.
What is your Best Moment in PR?
It is hard to pick just one moment as I’m very lucky to have some great moments to choose from. I believe my BIGmoment is yet to come, but if I had to choose one, I would say securing my first piece of coverage for client in a national magazine. The thrill of seeing it in print after the hard work made me feel like I was on top of the world. I remember having a smile on my face the entire day, I sure was proud.
Who would be your Dream Client?
I am a huge Marvel fan. If I could do some creative PR content for either a character, celebrity, or the franchise itself it would be my dream come true. At the same time, I do love independent artists and, if I get the opportunity, I would like to work on PR for independent artists all around the globe.
What’s an Interesting Fact or Special Talent about yourself?
Interesting facts… hmm… I eat a lot of raw tomatoes, I also rewatch Schitts Creek, Suits and The Office on repeat and cry when they end. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
I believe in star signs (I’m a Virgo by the way)!
What would you be doing if you didn’t do PR?
I was supposed to be a doctor, I grew up looking up to my father who is a practicing doctor, but I was more interested initially in dancing (@thegirlwhodances27) because it is beautiful and breathes life into me!
Then I found PR, which is where my heart now lies, but if I wasn’t a PR professional, I would probably be the “Doctor who Dances” 😊
