Ruffwear® Influencer Product Launch

Brief

Introduce dog owners to the Ruffwear® brand, create a significant buzz on social media and generate a bank of images and content to be used to populate the brand’s social channels.

Strategy

  • To create a significant network of influential Ruffwear® brand ambassadors through social media
  • To organise an immersive influencer event to showcase, test and review Ruffwear®’s Autumn/Winter 2018 products

Results

  • Increased Ruffwear®’s following on Instagram by over 80% in less than two weeks, the highest levels of engagement to date
  • Generated more than 300 pieces of social media content tagging @ruffwear_uk and using #Ruffwearaw18 in the two weeks following the event
  • Received more than 1000 engagements on Ruffwear®’s Instagram channel on the day
  • Instagram stories received more than 1000 views on the day
  • Secured direct sales from the event tracked through the use of unique influencer codes

Tactics

Wolfstar organised an event in the Lake District and invited six influential dog owners with a large combined social media following. The guests were provided with products to test and received a unique code to share with their followers. Before the event, on the day and in the days and weeks that followed, the influencers shared images of their dogs using Ruffwear®’s products and tagged the brand.
